Product Description

Technical characteristics

The collection is hand turned from solid bars of blue and black resin. All pens feature in the top of the cap a medal featuring the Samech, the fifteen letter of Hebrew alphabet, which represents the number 60.
The central ring in solid sterling silver 925% (18 kt solid gold in celebration) is engraved with the Menorah, official symbol of the state of Israel. The menorah is a seven-branched candelabrum lit by olive oil in the temple of Jerusalem together with two branches of olive tree synonym of peace and friendship between peoples.
A special thread is featured which allows the lateral lever to be perfectly aligned with clip when cap is screwed in place if starting aligned.

Clip and Nib:
The clip is made of solid sterling silver 925% (18 kt solid gold in celebration) and reproduces the Yad. A Yad, literally “hand”, is a Jewish ritual pointer, used to point to the text during the Torah reading.  It is intended to prevent anyone from touching the parchment, which is considered sacred. Several small diamonds cover completely the 2 spheres that form the clip.
The 18-karat solid gold nib is specially designed, customized and it is personalized. Is available in EEF, EF, F, M, B, BB, OM, OB, OBB and STUB grades.  It is engraved with the star of David.
Filling system:
It now offers the famous Delta’s lateral filling system considered the most traditional ink loading system, conceived in 1908 and still dear to pen collectors and lovers, giving the fountain pen a distinctive charm.

The Collection

Recommendations:
Ink- To obtain the best results, the use of Delta’s ink is advised.
All fountain pens are offered with Delta’s own premium high-grade ink. Delta’s inks are available in various colors.
DELTA recommends washing the pen reservoir with clean water (never use solvents), when pen is not used for long periods of time.
Ink left in the pen for long periods of time may change its color.
Also during air travel it is suggested that the pen (when filled with ink) be carried in an upright position.
In extreme cases of high air pressure can force ink out of the barrel provoking leakage.
